Below are the items student members will be voting on at convention.

In summary:

  • First, delegates will be asked to approve the credentials report, which approves CCR members as voting delegates.
  • Next, delegates will be asked to approve the special rules, which set the procedure and time limits for the meeting.
  • Then, members will be asked to approve the Rules Report to adopt the bylaw amendments.
  • Finally, delegates will vote for their new officers. View the elections page for more information.

Delegates: The Bylaws state that delegates to the Assembly shall be all members in attendance from a chartered chapter. Only students and Executive Committee members may have delegate votes. A student ID may be required to verify student status. Alumni may attend convention, but cannot vote.

Chartering:Only CCR chartered clubs and invited guests may participate in the convention business unless special arrangements are made. To ensure your club is chartered, please submit the following to credentials@cacollegegop.com:
1. List of your Executive Board members, their positions, and their emails
2. Form of school recognition for your club (RSO portal, letter affirming your registration with your campus as a student org, etc)
3. List of your active members with names and email addresses
4. A copy of your Constitution/ Bylaws
